Kronkosky Foundation Makes $10,000 Donation in Memory of Bruce Hanks

The Kronkosky Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $10,000 grant to the Arthur Nagel Community Clinic in memory of our former Executive Director, Bruce Hanks, who passed away earlier this year. The grant is unrestricted and we may use the funds in any way to help provide primary and preventative healthcare to qualifying Bandera County residents.

In making the announcement to our staff, the Foundation’s Grant Manager, Tom McGuire, expressed his gratitude for Mr. Hank’s long tenure at the helm of the Clinic as a Board member and later as Executive Director. He also lauded Hanks’ tireless dedication to helping the families of Bandera County. Clinic Board of Directors President, Barbara Shepard, echoed that observation. “Bruce was so strong at what he did and that had a tremendous impact on how well the Clinic was put together from the beginning,” she said. “This special grant will enable us to reach out to many more area families with the spirit of compassion and care that Bruce exemplified.”

The Clinic extends our deepest gratitude to the Kronkosky Foundation for providing this amazing gift and we look forward to continually honoring Bruce’s legacy through our work here at the Clinic.
